"A small West Virginia town is hosting the legendary Mountain Man Festival on Halloween, where throngs of costumed party goers gather for a wild night of music and mischief. This is were the fun starts. The plot is great. The film is anything but predictable and it actually sets up the plot when our heroes take an actual wrong turn. ĭecided to take a different turn then the played out been there done that shower scene. wrong turn 2 in another country Anyways, KUDOS for making a sequel that actually improved upon parts 2-4 At least 3 very well executed death scenes. i saw that the turd of a film 'Albino Farm' was A.K.A. They changed the setting as well in this film from not JUST the woods only thing worse than 'The Woods' is 'On A Remote Island' -see any number of the 'Zombi' or 'Cannibal Holocaust' films.- Interestingly enough, this movie could easily have been dubbed cannibal holocaust 2 in italy and it would be somewhat accurate. They tried to recapture some of the seriousness of the first film and did as well as they could with what they were given. At one point you may actually find yourselves remotely liking or caring about one of the characters. The hillbillys were more scary than silly and the movie - while lite harded in nature - actually had a more serious tone to it than any of the other sequels. Wrong Turn 4 I basically fell asleep from boredom after the opening. This Wrong Turn had super gore seemed like a mix of DECENTLY executed cgi mixed with prosthetics, thats the way to do it folks. Wrong turn 3 was ridiculous as well and had weird CGI effects if i recall correctly. Wrong turn 2 was good gore but was simply ridiculous.

Like SyFy blech Anyways, the production value of this movie SEEMS higher than the others.
